Art Poster

In digital design I me and my class made a poster for another class that is offered in our school. Our class did painting class. To do this project we had to design a poster to advertise for the class. To make the poster I took a picture of paint buckets and then put text on it to make it look like they were labeled onto the bucket. Next I put a black border around the poster and then just put the word paint around the edge in different types of text colors. One problem that I had with this project was getting the text to wrap around the buckets like I wanted them to. I am just happy about the project, it isnt anything very special but I dont think that its half bad, just a kind of short and sweet poster.

Our next project in my digital design 1 class is our movie poster project. In this project we had to make a movie poster out of an original picture that we take and then transform it into a movie poster. For mine I took a picture with a flashlight to make a shadow effect and then I took another picture of my self with a fake knife and then made that picture a silioquy so it would look like a shadow. We also had to come up with our own title, tagline, and rating of our movie. I was kinda happy with this project but the one thing that I would fix is the lighting. I would have more light so I could get more light on my "shadow", so it would show the whole body.

Cyborg Project

This is our latest project we have done in digital design I. We called this our cyborg project. In this project we took a picture of ourselves and then either took chunks of ourselves our of burned some of our skin and then took different pictures off the internet to make it seem like we are made of different robotic parts. I used a webcam as my eye, a part of an airplane engine for my mind, and then part of a car engine for the side of my face. Then i burned around my eye and my forehead and then cut out a part of my face to make it look like its falling off. I was kinda happy with this but I was kinda unsure about what I was exactly doing

Whats on your mind?

Me and my fellow classmates in Digital Design I just made another photoshop picture. In this project we had taken a picture of ourselves (or a past used one which I used) and then our goal was to make it seem as if objects are popping out of our heads. The objects were to be objects that are either hobbies or sports or something that we think about all the time. I used running objects because I run track and cross country and I am an all around runner. First we selected a background and then we could either make a hole in our head or make it seem like our head was cracked open. Next we got different pictures off of the internet and then applied it to our photoshop document. After that we then positioned them to make them seem they were popping out of our head. Next for the images just coming out of our head we used the burn tool to make the images kind of have a shadow. I was actually very happy with this project, I think it grasped what I am and have been thinking about.

Silhouette Project

For our next project in Degital Design 1 we did a Silhouette project. In this project we took 3 different pictures of us and then made one kind of the main focus while the other two we changed into silhouettes. We had to follow a certain color pattern, I did orange violet and light blue. Next we would download some paintbrushes that we found on the internet. Next we would use the paintbrushes that we find and apply them to the page, but we had to make the brushes the same color as our color scheme. I was kinda happy with this project but I didnt really know how to apply the brushes without going over board yet not having enough. But all in all it turned out ok.

Bottle Cap project

Me and my Digital Design 1 class did a project that is pretty well known in the world. We did bottle cap projects. In this project we would put something resembling that we love so most of the kids in my class found different kinds of hearts. I picked a heart that is very strong and i put a banner underneath it that says Go Run!!! I put this because I love running and my heart is pretty strong because of it. In this project one of the problems that I had was getting the heart cut out right because I always had little bits of white showing from where I had cut it out. I was happy with this project because I think it turned out nice and it relates to something that I like.

Andy Warhol project

I did another project in digital design I class. We called this an Andy Worhol project because the famous Andy Warhol did something familiar to this. To do this project we had taken a picture of ourselves and then copied it to have 4 different pictures of me. Then we would play with the different gradients and colors to make thek look differently. Actually during this project I dont remember having really any big problems. I was pretty happy with how this turned out.
